Frequently Asked Questions

 

Do you have a sliding scale?

 

I do not have a sliding scale, but for those who do not have insurance coverage and can demonstrate clear financial need, fees may be reduced for a limited time.  This is determined on a case by case basis.

 

Will you bill me?

 

Unless otherwise arranged, fees are payable at the end of each session by cash, check or credit card.  Checks should be made out to Mark Littman, MA.  I can accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover cards.

 

Do you take my insurance?

 

I am a provider for Aetna Behavioral Health. Cigna, CONCERN Plus EAP, and Health Advocate EAP.  For all other policies, if you have out of network coverage you may be reimbursed a substantial portion of my fee after your deductible is paid.

 

Please check with your carrier to determine:

• if you are covered

• the amount of your deductible

• the percentage of my fee that will be paid after your deductible is met.

 

I would be happy to assist you in obtaining this information if you desire.

 

What additional fees should I expect?

 

 

Documents requested by client  -- or attorney --  for any purpose, are charged at $180 per hour of preparation time. Minimum is one hour.

 

 

Court appearances, including travel time, are charged at $180 per hour, with 8 hour minimum, paid in advance.
