The death of a beloved pet can be devastating. Even words of sorrow and understanding expressed by well-meaning friends and family often don't help. If you are in extreme pain that does not seem to go away, if you are unable to eat or sleep, if your work is not up to par because you are unable to concentrate, if you have no interest in activities you once enjoyed and if you feel your life will never be the same, then you may be suffering from a form of grief-related depression. It might be time to speak to someone who can help.

I have worked with many people who are experiencing what you are going through and have gone through it myself numerous times. Sometimes only a few sessions are enough to help ease the pain but, of course, it might take longer. There is no time frame for grief.
